The Man Behind the Screens
Hi, I'm Jon. Born and raised in the rugged landscapes of Colorado, my life has always been defined by the open road. With over two decades of experience spanning from behind the wheel to the strategic complexities of national logistics, I brings a rare, boots-on-the-ground perspective to the dispatching industry.
Seaglass Logistics wasn't built in a boardroom; it was built on the grease-stained reality of the American highway. I founded this company with a singular mission: to provide the kind of loyal, transparent support I know you deserve. Today, I leverage my deep industry knowledge to ensure that for every carrier I partner with, the road ahead is more profitable and less lonely.
I grew up in western Colorado, surrounded by open roads and big skies. As soon as I turned 21, I got a job driving box trucks OTR — and I loved it.
Over the years I moved from the driver’s seat into operations, logistics, DOT compliance, warehousing, and safety management, and to this day, I still go out and drive when the opportunity allows. I’ve seen this industry from almost every angle, and I have a lot of passion for freight and for the people who keep it moving. I want to see every carrier and driver succeed, and I work hard day in and day out to make that happen.
Starting Seaglass Logistics is my dream. I’ve always wanted to work for myself and build something that truly reflects who I am, something I can be proud of. The Oregon coast is my happy place, and strolling the beaches... finding those rare pieces of sea glass has always brought me a lot of joy — that’s where the name Seaglass Logistics comes from. I love to travel and I love to drive. I’ve worked in 46 of the 48 states, so I almost always have at least a basic idea of where I’m sending drivers. When I’m not working, I collect sports memorabilia, listen to good music, and spend time with my daughter and my 6‑year‑old mutt, Rocco. I’m also slowly restoring a 1975 Mustang and feeding a new addiction to my motorcycle.
